When I was in school, I took a class about modern art and inevitably we studied Jackson Pollock. I remember hearing how the "drip" of paint came to symbolize the whole abstract expressionism movement, and I felt that this was a bit unfair.
I had to find out if I could make realistic work while still dripping paint and I eventually learned I could. House paint flows pretty easily so it seemed logical to get a few colors, some dixie cups for mixing, and some plastic spoons for drizzling the paint. I tried to keep this technique reserved for bigger, bolder figures.
